Golden Bantam is an open-pollinated heirloom that grows to 5' and produces two 6" ears of corn per stalk. The large 7" ears produce 8-10 rows of juicy kernels. This is the original sweetcorn that won America's heart and convinced families that yellow corn was good for something besides simply livestock feed.
For best eating, roast Golden Bantam and eat it straight off the cob. Makes a tasty creamed corn and is good for canning and freezing, too.
